Configure Email clients

After adding email accounts, you can use cPanel tools to configure your email client to access the account.

1. Visit **http://**_coolexample.com_**/webmail**, where _coolexample.com_ is your domain name.
2. Sign in with your email address.
3. Click **Set up email client**.
4. Next to the email client you want to use, click the link in the **Protocols** column.
5. Follow any instructions or run any downloaded files to complete setup.

If the email client or device you want to use is not listed, you can use the **Manual Configuration** indicated towards the bottom of the page.

## Typical configuration

If you can't access the cPanel interface to complete these steps, here are the typical settings it uses:

|**Username**|Your email address|
|**Password**|The password of your email account|
|**Incoming server**|**mail.**[_your domain name_]|
|**Incoming Ports**|IMAP — 143 <br>POP — 110|
|**Outgoing server**|**mail.**[_your domain name_]|
|**SMTP port (outbound)**|25 (values ​​587 or 80 can also work)|
